I'm not arguing that art can't be entertaining, pleasurable,       etc. I'm not even arguing BTW that some smooth jazz can't be art,       though a good portion of it is certainly contrived in the board room.       But all art does not entail pleasure and just because at some later       stage in your life you may derive said pleasure from *self-growth*       doesn't mean that all the art you absorbed then becomes entertainment.       That's the argument you're making and it's way off. *All* art is not       entertainment, but we agree that it *can* entertain.              -JC                     -JC              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
