   How about 'ambient' then. Chill-out can mean pretty much anything.   
   There's also the older electronic music form 'New Age'.   
      
   Without the percussion it can't really be called 'trance' as 'the'   
   core component of trance is a very steady 4/4 beat. Yes, melody   
   features a lot but without that beat, it won't be trance.
