Don't know if it's the one you're looking for, but the first thing that
jumps out of my mind is 'Pray" by Tina Cousin's. The chorus of the lyrics
   are the following:

Pray for good and pray for love
Pray for peace and pray it's enough
pray for salvation, pray that we're right
pray for one day we open our eyes
And pray for them and pray for us
pray one day we can live as one
pray for the children whose time is to come
just pray they forgive us for the stupid things we've done

The song is a few years old (about five), but I can't see why a DJ wouldn't
play it anyway. Tina Cousins also has done some stuff with Sash.

Even if this isn't the song you're looking for, a great tune and
   recommended.
