   they did an entire vinyl album, by that name. the churkendoose was one song on   
   it.  ray bolger not danny kaye.  I grew up with that.  I was born in 46 and it   
   was recorded in 47.   
      
   the Churkendoose was Part Chicken, Turkey, Duck, and Goose;  was a book first,   
   actually 3 different small kids' books each a different story.  Ray Bolger was
