As others have noted, the show is called H. R. Pufinstuf. The opening lyrics   
   are easily found on the Internet, but the closing lyrics sound like something   
   taken from a gospel song. I've been trying to find out what the original song   
   is, but to no avail.    
   If you've found something about it since your initial post, I'd appreciate a
