I have been looking for (the same?) song  for ages, which has exactly the same   
   lyrics as the one mentioned in this discussion. However, the song I am looking   
   for is tecnho/dance song from late 80s or early 90s. It has a funky ongoing   
   piano beat, and the    
   lyrics are pretty much repeating itself with the "shine a light, shine a light   
   on me".    
      
   My friend had this song on a c--cassette in his first car (a cool Toyota   
   Celica from 1979:D), and I would to hear it again. I have checked all the   
   ideas given to Peter in this thread, but no luck so far.   
      
   Please help me and Peter out if you have any ides
