Yeah, it makes one get serious about what they Really need to bring along,
and what they Really don't need...sort of like camping...actually it is a
form of camping, minus the natural setting ;)

   > Can't say until the job is in our back pocket.

Or back yard, so to speak ;) Actually, I was just wondering if it meant
you'd be touring to each gig, at the same place as in a road trip to WV or
somewhere near it, or very far in any case.

   > Just barely, and by pure luck. Rode again today, avoided that hole.

I thought only ILL-NOISE Corruption resulted in such bad roads, but it
sounds like you've got the same problem in OH.

I've NEVER encountered that...not even in Thoroughly Corrupt ILL-NOISE!!!
Sure looks like someone who didn't know what they were doing to put that
surface on the road...because that's NOT supposed to happen!!! No wonder
   it's so DANGEROUS!!!
You should put those pictures online and hopefully, some heads will roll!

Besides, roads should be paved with concrete - it's far better all around.

   > I ride at particular times, avoiding peak traffic times.

All it takes is one Retarded Idiot, and since almost everyone out there is,
I just don't look forward to risking my life to them, which is why I ride
   sidewalks every chance I get.

   > And since it live in a mostly rural area, it's generally safe.

You're lucky ;) Not so much like that for me, even though I'm in a
suburb...that USED to be more rural than it is now :(

   > I do cross the river and weave around the houses and roads over there.
   > Mostly looking for garage sales :-)

Speaking of which, it'll be getting into garage sale season around here - I
wonder if it'll be worth the look.
