FROM THE BAND :-)              Give 'em time ;)              > I told " other guy " about two new bands bookings. We could work those       > without him, but eh, ask him to come along anway. I       > wouldn't have ask him except for all the band " drama ". He's one person       > I can count on being there and not second guessing the sound.              Sounds like the beginning of a new band!              > Long weekend coming up. I have two jobs saturday, afternoon then evening.       > One's a duo, the other I'm gonna do as a solo, I expect. Less stress on       > me.              Solo always stresses me because I'm a band, Love Vibe person ;)              > Feeling better today because this is starting to make sense, a little.       > Band girls jealous friends are messing with her. See the video I       > references last night. She's falling for their games.              That's almost as bad as believing the 'government'.              > I'm not. That's why no one has said anything to ME about the sound.              So, they'll only hate you from a distance - happens to me all the time ;)              > I'd laugh in their face.              I'd rather Puke in it ;)              Brings back memories, and prospective unpleasantness up ahead...when someone       tries to pull that Crap with me.       For example, if it's about Freedom, and they're against it, I give them that       don't-even-think-about-it look.       If they persist, I'm quick to point out that my hippie name is Freedom, and       for a very good reason - I'm Totally into it, I Love it, and it's my       measuring stick, for absolutely everything.       If they continue, trying to 'convince' me to be a FOOL and give it up, I'll       tell them that they might as well be trying to convince me to give up       breathing Oxygen, letting them know that what they really want is for me to       drop dead.       Then I remind them of that great old saying, Live FREE or DIE, and remind       them that like giving up oxygen, giving up Freedom also results in Certain       Death - just takes longer, that's all!              > Oh, and I did trackdown a live recording of one of the bands they talk       > about who's sound is magically perfect. Obviously it's not. They sound       > EXACTLY like a bad live band. The vocals are audible sometimes .... mostly       > it's bass and kick drum. Really. The guitar intros are floating in and       > out just barely above the crowd noise. This would be funny if it wasn't       > so sad.                            JimD              Kind of like the Emperor's New Clothes...but not very funny, just Tragic,       and mostly Disgusting!              Ouisie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
