Poor hearing is easy to come by, just keep everything too loud...and the
guitar player in that band I'm in now runs nothing less than a four 12"
speaker cab, Marshall of course, along with the head go with it...he thinks
we're at some large venue when in fact, we're in an office back room...and
he wonders why we can't hear ourselves!

And at that rate, it won't be too long before it's gone, along with the
   Music!

That's how it always goes with those IDIOTS, they *make* themselves deaf,
then they want to make everyone else deaf trying to hear what they
can't...by the very same process - turning it up too loud.

Just like the guitar player in the band I'm currently in, though for how
   much longer, I don't know.
I tell him even at a low setting, his four 12" speakers are coupled to more
air than my tiny but surprisingly powerful 75W Crate GX-20M amp with it's
   single 10" speaker.
