Then that *should* be settled ;)

Why isn't she aware of that? And who needs to scream into an amplified mic?

That's why it's best to stick with the monitor system...OR...for a sound
check, NOW is the time to play back a recording, of the band, so she can go
out in the audience area and hear Realistic levels from an actual
performance rather than adjusting vocal output down!

   Depends entirely on the circumstances.

If coworkers are Stupid Idiots, then there's no basis for trusting them to
do anything right, and it's probably quite necessary, not to mention extra
stressful, to do their jobs in order to get it right. This is often if not
   usually the case.

But it could also be related to ego problems too...someone wants 'out-do'
everyone else to show off, look impressive, brown-nose the boss, any or all
   of the above;)

   > I thought that was pretty cheap.

I thought new tablets could be had for under 100 bucks.

   I think it will :-)

Probably, because there's nothing like having to move, haul and set up stuff
to drive the point home ;)
