Yet some still think the old testament rules are all in effect.              That's because of their Mistake of forgetting that the Bible is One book,       Not two!              > Just a few more days then we turn the corner. The sun will slowly start       > coming back up. Yipee. Oh, and it'll be cold as hell until about March       > :-)              Yep, after about December 21, the nights will start getting shorter and the       days will start getting longer - just not fast enough ;)              > Yes. Minor blems on a lens don't matter, unless they are somehow       > reflective, then they can dimish contrast.              My father was in that field and had encountered many who made a big deal       over anything less than absolute 'perfection' ;)              > Right. I was given some by someone who earned them, and wanted me to have       > them. A souvineer, you might say.              I'm sure they don't care about that - they only want to feel that their       receiving them somehow 'confirms' that they did the right thing - Pathetic!              > He was too busy being a cop. Cops think like cops even at parties. His       > instincts and training were to suspect I was lying, and keep pushing for       > me to say more. They are taught that stuff. They express disbelief,       > expecting you to say more and more to try and convince them.              They're actually *trained* in being Dangerous Sociopaths...and we're       supposed to feel 'safe' when they're around!              > And as that progresses they more and more act like you're lying. It's a       > technique to get you to say something that, as they say " can and will be       > used against you in a court of law " Problem is, this was a social       > setting, and I wasn't a suspect in some investigation.              They're always fishing for something.              > Legal advice, very good advice it to never voluntarily talk to LE. If       > you're in some incident and they want to question you, three things ....       > 1 - say something like " officer this is serious, you know it and I know       > it. then 2 - I will cooperate fully ..... then 3 --- after I speak with       > an attorney.              > THEN SHUT UP.              > They will say something like " well, I know, but for my report I need just       > a few details ...... You might be asked that       > blandest of details, but remember, if you get anything, anything at all       > wrong, some distance, some color, some anything, that could just be the       > tiny detail they will use to send you off to prison over.              The above part might be the way to go if you're already wearing handcuffs,       but if not, it's merely a stop/Harassment, the best approach is to be a       total Sergeant Schultz, or even better, to have nothing to say to them.       Since they're fishing, it means they have nothing, or else you'd already be       under arrest, and if you don't give them anything, all they can do is hassle       you, which they'd already be doing anyway.              > You'd be surprised, ( maybe ) at how routinely cops deal with criminals.       > And they have years and years, hundreds or more chances to learn how to       > get someone to trip up. Remember I come from a family full of cops. They       > know all the tricks there are. So you don't want to play games with them.              Refusing to talk to them is the most effective way to avoid that.              > Shut up, ask for a laywer, then stay shut up.              That one should be reserved for if they actually take you in...otherwise, if       they have nothing on you, you can frustrate them into letting you go on your       way.              > Unless it's a stupid traffic stop. Then say " officer " a lot and be as       > complying and you can be. Here in Ohio, it's not uncommon at all to get       > shot at a traffic stop for the tinyest anything a cop might consider       > threatening.              Over here near and in Chicago too...it's an Epidemic, a JackBoot Epidemic!              > Don't even think about opening the door or getting out of your vehicle. Or       > moving around on the seat. And they don't like being videoed.              Never let them know they're on video ;)              > On the other hand, if you're in a wreck, having a cop show up is like a       > blessing from God.              But at what Price!!! More often than not, I don't think it's worth it!              > To be clear, I like police.              ONLY IF THEY STICK TO THEIR OATH!!!              > But at the same time, I know that if they don't personally know me, I look       > like any other possible bad guy out there. And they will be on their       > guard. As will I :-)              I you have to be fear getting killed just because they CHOSE to do a job       them might very well not be psychologically suited for, That should Never be       *your* problem!!!              My advice is that if one is worried, or scared that someone might shoot       them, then DON'T BE A COP, and similarly, if one gets dizzy and sick to       their stomach scared when they're on a second floor porch then DON'T BE A       WINDOW WASHER, because an additional 90 or so stories up isn't going to make       the situation any better!!!              > Not everyone is there against their will. Some are doing it because bad       > people have to be confronted somewhere. If not there, then here.              Bad people have to be confronted HERE FIRST!!!              There was once in a Chicago newspaper advice column a long time ago,       something aimed it teenagers, it said:              CLEAN UP YOU ROOM - THEN THE WORLD!!!              Hear, Hear!!! Great advice!!!              > War isn't a nice thing. Sometimes it becomes necessary.              But Knowing, Profoundly, When or If it's Really Necessary, is what's truly       Necessary Before risking a life!!!              These veterans realized Tragically, after the fact, that they had risked       their lives for those Bad, as in Evil people, rather than for their country,       and that's what's tearing them apart and driving so many of them to suicide.              > Sometimes you have to defend what's yours.              Sometimes? Every time!!!              > I'm not a big fan of overseas adventures and empire tho.              That's what the NWO is, a Globalist Empire of Evil!              > Yes, what does happen to things like that once the original owner is gone       > ?              I'd assume they're passed down, to relatives and friends.              > They are a group unto themselves. They know how corrupt the world is, how       > corrupt politicians are. It's really just a job to most of them.              But they're a Willing part of it, for the Root of ALL Evil!              > This one was a Class III, a real full auto ( selectable ) weapon. Very       > expensive to play with :-)                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
