There's too much hype over those dogs, and the term "pit" doesn't help at
all as it suggests that those dogs are about nothing but violent
confrontations and fighting to the death...it's not fair.

Body fat for terrestrial creatures doesn't guarantee comfort in the cold,
and I should know, I've got lots of pig blubber ;) and I freeze regularly,
it's not like whale blubber, which really does do a fantastic job of
   insulating.

They'll probably be getting along fine in no time.

We're starting to get a 'warm' spell, with predictions for today through
Monday of highs around 40 degrees F...39F right now...so that'll probably be
coming your way too...with nice clear skies to boot and high pressure!

   That sucks.

I hate when things like that happen. Even hate it when a car parks in front
of our house, because every house has a driveway to park in, so lots of
wondering when something like that happens.

   > So what was that ? I found a tall boy beer can in the snow the next
   > morning. So maybe the driver was drinking and didn't want to hang around
   > when the car broke ?

It's no fun wondering what it was all about either.

   > Or, found out next day that there was a girl murdered just south of us and
   > the cops were looking for those people. Could that have been connected ?

Oh, wonderful! Not enough trouble in the big scummy city, now it has to
   spread out.
