Well, hey, I've been       > looking for a deal, and there it was.              Some of the reviews says it can hold a lot of weight, and the stand weighs       19 lbs , except for that small looking support footprint, that's what make       me wonder.              > New reduced price from GC was $199, with coupon, $174 ( including tax and       > shipping ). When they started out, their prices seemed pretty       decent, but now that the Monster is growing, the prices are too, and search       results are so Polluted with their name, I regularly have to use the -amazon       filter whenever I do a search...sure clears up the JUNK!              > So the GC coupon got me to pull the trigger. How does one cobble together a keyboard stand setup? ;)              > This new one should be much better all around. The double tier thing I'm       > using now is a mess to transport. It's classified as a 4 door hatchback       subcompact car, but it's not so much a car as it is what I like to call a       "microvan", and it not only holds my keyboard stand and bench, but with a       little careful position adjusting, my 88 key digital piano in it's oversize       gig bag can fit across both rear seats, which I therefore never had to       folded down to load it through the hatch, and the stand is an average On       Stage folding X stand...and there's still room for a passenger up front.              Ouisie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
