   Back at my 'old school', and everywhere else too, compliments had to be   
   EARNED!!!

   When they demonstrate that they Deserve encouragement, they'll get it, and   
   not until! That way, they have an Incentive to do their best in order to   
   EARN the encouragement and compliments they've actually Worked hard to   
   Deserve...oh, and also their own Dignity and Self-Esteem, and Self-Respect,   
   the Honest way!!!   
      
   Rather, my approach, if presented with Crap, would be to take a position of   
   wanting to *help* the person to make what they ostensibly endeavor to,   
   better, so that one day it will actually Deserve compliments. If the person   
   is Honest, they will have more interest in getting better than I do, if   
   they're DIS-Honest, they'll make the usual Lame excuses and accuse me of   
   doing something(s) wrong by not appreciating their Crap.
