   Sounds a bit like how I record demos.   
      
   1. Record the piano track.   
   2. Record the vocal track, since the piano track is already there to sing   
   along with.   
   3. Record the 'guitar' track.   
   4. Record the bass track.   
      
   Pretty simple, and even simpler sometimes if I record piano and vocals   
   simultaneously.
