   I've never experienced that, but a large source of heat, shall we say, would   
   magnify many factors not the least of which would be lots of convective air   
   currents, which would eliminate any 'just right' 'sweet spots' and require   
   constant repositioning.

   More pertinent would be to question What Basis would form such expectations   
   in the first place?
