It's a sense of self, of       one's own unique individuality that delineates, almost like a sort of "force       field", one person from another lest confusion of personhood, to say the       very least, would result without it.              This is the very reason why Socialism, or anything that even points in that       direction will Always be a total failure - because it Denies and therefore       Disrespects the very existence of the self and in so doing, canNot be       successfully applied to any Individual creature!              But a person with an ego *problem* is someone whose behavior, or more       accurately misbehavior, indicates, usually through the process of Subjective       rationalization, messages such as 'My uniqueness and individuality is       *better* than yours', or simply such things as 'I'm 'better' 'qualified'       than you to be in charge, to be the 'rock star', prima donna etc., because       I'm 'better' than you'. THAT's an ego problem.              Ouisie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
