That's because we the only ones who keep it alive ;)

An association of musicians sounds like some kind of concert, or at least
   should ;)

   > Oh well.

In other words, you were using 'tracks' again ;)
But I don't know if I'd want to play for those just waiting for their chance
to 'pick apart' or otherwise be critics - doesn't sound like much fun that
   way.

Sounds like they'd be more useful picking themselves apart then ;)

   > No one even noticed that. They ask about our pa cabs, what kind of power

That's the brainwashing effect - CRAP in *any* form, continued long enough
becomes STUPIDLY 'accepted' and on those all too rare occasions when things
are finally done Right, they can't figure out why there's such an
   improvement.

   You're going to WV?
I'm sure bluegrass is a lot of fun. I was listening to some on youtube, and
since I'm kind of a hillbilly myself, I enjoy it...but it sure does need
   keyboards ;)
But if anyone insists that a resonator or other kind of slide guitar,
guitar, upright viol bass, banjo, fiddle, and mandolin are enough, I can
always arrange a keyboard part and prove that only then is the sound truly
   complete ;)

   > That's about it. Still playing, still enjoying it.

That's what it's all about. And I'm working on song #43 "It Could Happen To
Anyone", about reaping what one sows, and that gets me more than half way
   through the 4th album.
