   Your discussion remind me of a comment an older club patron once told   
   me when I was a young guy. Understand, he considered it a great   
   compliment and I accepted it in that way but I think it makes the point   
   clear of how little people are aware of the strengths and weakness of   
   the very famous musician/singers:   
      
   What he said was something like "You play guitar as well as Johnny   
   Cash". Now understand, I am a huge fan of Cash - I literally believe he   
   was irreplaceable on many levels, as a singer, performer, writer,   
   social critic, etc but as a guitarist, well, he wasn't - as far as I   
   could tell, he was in the Elvis school of guitar playing. Again, I   
   knew the man meant it nicely and I thanked him sincerely. But it is   
   funny how people perceive their musically heroes.   
      
   BTW, a buddy of mine that I have worked with for years would have   
   corrected him and said something like "Well, you know J. Cash is not   
   much of guitar player" and he always wonders why people get   
   p!$$@d at him...
