   Yeah, same here, except that just barely getting by...but I don't regard   
   something like going to church to be motivated by the prospect of getting   
   various things.   
      
   To  clear the whole thing up, I had mentioned that my church gave me a brand   
   new notebook computer and you responded that I'm getting some benefits from   
   my church connections, making it seem as though such benefits were almost   
   like a kind of incentive considering that you'd already mentioned in the   
   past that the pastor is getting a lot of money, which of course he is and   
   which I have no doubt whatsoever, is a powerful motive for him...but not for   
   me, even though, considering the precarious, to say the least, situation I'm   
   in, I wouldn't mind having that at least to some extent, alleviated as well.

   Our church also operates a food pantry, and it seems that there's always   
   those who make a practice of conning food pantries too.
