For me, singing and playing go together with such synergistic dynamism that
they both each enhance the other.
Besides, since the lyrics have so much meaning for me, that makes it easier
   to remember them ;)
It's only when I'm learning a new song, even one I just wrote, often
especially one I just wrote, that it's often a real challenge to remember
   what to play and sing.

Well that's one way to be spared all the CRAP, because that's mostly what's
   out there.

How about Genuine Amateurs? Those who do something for the sheer Love of
doing it - which is why I'm into Music!
I'd play it whether I'd get paid or not because I simply Love it that much.
And 'amateur' and 'professional' are NOT opposites, but rather the Best
combination around, and those who do something for Love have Pure Motives
for doing it. And how Awesome is it to make a living doing what one Truly
   Loves!
