From: sunofmusic@gmail.com               West Babylon, NY, May 3rd -- On May 3rd, 2015, the alternative/       ost-hardcore/pop/punk rock band Approaching Troy will be joined with musical       performances by several Long Island rock bands to celebrate the release of       AT's new EP, "Dear Sadie" at        Evolution Sound Stage, 80D Dale Street, West Babylon, NY 11704 at 6:00pm.       Tickets are $15 each, All ages. See EvolutionSoundStage.com for directions.              The music scene of Long Island has always had a long, rich musical history       with many famous indie bands leaving their mark in the hearts and souls of       American rock fans. The faint echoes of that revolution (predecessors Taking       Back Sunday, Glassjaw,        Dream Theater, Bayside and Brand New) can barely be heard these days around       the suburban towns they were born in. However, if the reaction from their       loyal fans at live shows and the excitement over their soon-to-be released EP,       "Dear Sadie" (a testament        to the band's potential as an Alternative/Pop/Punk/Post-Hardcore Rock leader)       is any indication of a revitalization of that scene, then Approaching Troy is       about to be on the cusp of a new revolution; ready to make their individual       mark on the Island's        rich history beginning with their release party on May 3rd. Fans won't want to       miss this special night and concert as Approaching Troy is joined along with a       host of young, up-n-coming, talented Long Island bands for a night not soon to       be forgotten.              Currently planning a second northeast mini-tour like their successful one this       past January which included shows in Providence, RI, Bedford, PA, West Haven,       CT, Ithaca and Buffalo, NY and Boston, MA, Approaching Troy looks to       capitalize on their local        Long Island success and spread their music to other U.S. regions hungry for       their Long Island melodic sound that features catchy, Pop hooks over simmering       guitar riffs and a rebellious punk sensibility. For more info, follow them on       Facebook & Twitter @       ApproachingTroy or check out their website, ApproachingTroy.com and sample       some of their music at reverbnation.com.
