From: someone@anywheret.net              This is all part of good soundwork, whether for a studio recording, or a       live performance.              The idea is to use high resolution eq - such as a 1/3 octave band eq, to       literally form a frequency-adjusted acoustic 'niche' around each and every       instrument and vocal by very carefully shaping the audio spectrum of each       source so that although close to the others, each source nonetheless has a       certain degree of 'isolation', which allows it to literally have its own       'space' and thus be heard clearly apart from all the others, which of course       effectively eliminates the 'sonic slush' which is more or less guaranteed       otherwise.              Ouisie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
