I prefer my approach of field testing ;)
And I've gotten very good responses; I've been told that the songs have
meaning, and tell stories and messages, that they have substance, and that
I've just got to get them on the radio, which is the plan. I've even been
told by one overjoyed listener that he thought songs like that were gone
   forever.
Obviously there are a lot of disenfranchised people who'll be very happy to
know there is Music actually worth listening to!

I'm only interested in the Music - if it's good, it will sell.

Fleetwood Mac? I thought they had enough problems with failing relationships
and bad feelings and vibes within the band ;)

For those into learning, yes, but tragically not for those not interested in
learning...which is why history is always repeating itself.
