   You have to read the Vibe and have enough material in your setlist so that   
   you can play what they will like.

   Me too! Because I've got to do it all - definitely NOT my favorite way to   
   perform.

   Not so much about fixing blame, but rather the absence of musician   
   interaction.   
      
   Sort of like dancing without a partner when a partner would make it soooo

   I don't think it's so much a skill as it is a way of doing something that   
   one either likes and is comfortable with, or not.   
      
   A piano player at my church who recently moved to Oregon was one of those. I   
   told her I've always wanted to play with her but she wasn't interested -   
   instead she preferred to play by herself, as in to each their own.
