I can buy a few hours of perkyness ... then the price is       > being tired, mentally dull, and unable to go to sleep.              I'd been on so much coffee for so long it wasn't working anymore, so as       usual, I decided to kick the habit so I'm now through with caffeine for the       time being. The other alternative is to keep ingesting more and more       caffeine, like with supplementing the coffee with NoDoz and Vivarin, like I       did before when I was killing myself with it but NO THANKS!!! When my       tolerance increases past a certain point, I just quit, so far 4 days of       constant headaches, but at least they're not severe and besides, I've got a       church gig at one of our singer's other churches so I'm knocking myself out       working on the songs she'll be singing at todays Saturday special service       for a recently deceased relative of hers:              "I Come To the Garden"              "I Believe" by Diamond Rio              "When I Get Where I'm Going" by Brad Paisley              Country tunes for the last 2 ;)       But they're really good ones, lots of nicely flowing chords, powerful Music       and powerful lyrics with meaning to go with it!              And a good song is a good song, no matter when it was written!       The band my Soulmate and myself play open mic night events with is currently       setting up paying gigs for all of us, and the subject of setlist material       came up, mostly because I brought it up ;)       I mentioned that CopyCat Crap is Boring and all worn out and that Originals       are the way!       The response was the usual one, indicating an almost Total lack of       confidence that any *new* Original material will be any good. So I mentioned       that I currently have 40 Originals, and that instead of debating verbally       about it, it would be better to give them a Listen and *then* comment on the       subject!       The reply to that was that there wasn't time.       So the next time, when I hear ANYthing negative being said about Originals,       I'll just have to hook up my mp3 player and let the Original Music speak for       itself!!!              > Good day today. I did basically nothing. Talked some on the phone. Came       > to a few decisions regarding the band. Will talk about that later.              Jim              Probably need to get caught up on sleep ;)              Ouisie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
