   They can do quite a bit with just a little on a movie set.

   I'd be happy just to see one fly by!   
      
   On the other hand, at Chicago's Air and Water show, I did get to see an Avro   
   Vulcan, AV-8 Harrier, a couple of B-1s, and even an F-106 Dart.

   Low weight and small, 'short' stature requirements were common for certain   
   members of bomber crews because of such cramped conditions. On the other   
   hand, even though I'm quite 'wiggly' ;), I was able to practically disappear   
   behind the instrument panel of a Honda Accord while I was installing the   
   prototype speakers in a custom sound system in it when I used to work in   
   that field. Kind of freaked everyone out that I could get into such a tiny   
   space and they asked me how I was ever going to get back out, to which I   
   replied that I'd simply reverse the process I used to get in ;)   
   But I don't think I'd care to Stuff myself into a B-17's ball turret, even   
   if I could ;)

   I wonder how much of a problem that actually was in practice. And turbofan   
   engines can do plenty of damage in similar situations.

   As usual, they probably used a different plane thinking that no one would be   
   into aircraft enough to know or care...but they're wrong ;)   
   But what really irks me no end is misrepresenting planes when viewed from   
   the outside i.e. putting German markings on a P-51 does NOT make it an Me   
   109!!!

   They're big enough, but of course, that depends on what they're compared to

   And the Boeing 307 Stratoliner is a Gorgeous airliner version of the B-17.

   Flying can NEVER be taken lightly! One Must Always prepare for being Certain   
   of not getting lost, along with ALL the other safety issues, Every time!

   If they fly into radar, they'll be tracked.
