Do I ever, like a swarm of gigantic bumble bees with an incredible roar with
   the throttles open for takeoff!!!

I once went to Oshkosh for the EAA show that way ;)

I've seen light planes - single engine Cessnas do that around here. They fly
very large circles at around 10,000' or so, over and over again...I suspect
   they're up to no good.

I never saw a video of that but I've heard of it. I think I'll look for it.
I wonder if anyone has ever survived the experience.

   > Loud is those Russian counter rotating prop things. Sheesh .....

I love "ConRo" props as I call the contrarotating type...very efficient and
totally torqueless, as are those used on helos.

Was it a jet, or turboprop? Because the turboprop powered Piaggio P180
Avanti fits that description pretty well.

'Licensing' is for Slaves, Not a Free people!!!

Last time I had a chance like that was long ago when my motorcycle was
running and the forerunner of the V-22 Osprey, namely the XV-15 tiltrotor
would be coming to former Meigs Field for those interesting - I was
interested so I took the bike down there and saw a quite impressive
performance, and even got to talk to the pilots and ask questions.

   Fun stuff! ;)

You could adopt a very light touch, if you're so inclined ;)
Or you could also try titanium strings.
