No not stretching your tolerance for Music, stretching your tolerance for
   CRAP!!!

   > We could do it, but why ? Just that ..... why ?

There's Absolutely NO REASON to do CRAP!!!

I liked his style with the Eagles, especially the banjo pickin'.

   > Maybe he's just bored with the the sound of a guitar. I know I am.

That's what effects are for ;)

Not if you use it in different recipes! Just look at how well that worked
out for something as simple as salt!

I don't think it's a matter of being resigned but rather being close enough
to add more variety...at least that's how it is for me with keys - I can get
some decent guitar sounds but it's still a keyboard, but that's okay with me
   because I'm a keyboard player.
If I absolutely had to have 100 percent authentic guitar sounds that much,
I'd probably start learning to play guitar.

I'm into keys so I've managed to pick up on various chops and techniques and
even invent some along the way since I'm self-taught anyway...because I
totally Love keys so much that I just had to teach myself how to play them.

That hardware didn't look like it was for use with keyboard stands.
