The True name for the condition is Deterioration.

At least she made it a long way.

For specific details, I have resorted to it, but I also use chord charts,
and listening to recordings and midi files which can be slowed down,
   whatever works best ;)

I'm sure that's entirely possible but I was thinking of having duplicates
made, pre battle damaged, for sale for very big bucks ;)
Because I'm sure they'd sell, but who'd think that a mere plectrum, at least
that's the claim, could do such damage to a guitar, unless he was picking it
with a wood carving gouge, because that's what the damage looks like ;)

It's just like with deliberately and/or pre ripped high priced jeans.

Oh, I thought you already played one, if not, that's probably the first
   thing to do.

   > Only issue is the logo is painted on the front. A refinish would be kinda

Guess you'd just have to paint very carefully around the logo, meanwhile,
some knockoff from China could come out ;)

   > Silly sells.

Yeah, I know, along with Stupid, and sex...they can have it - I prefer
   something more dignified.

It's 40 years for me in this old dump, which is also too small.

   > All my band gear. More things from various other relatives passing and
   > leaving stuff to us.

If you use it or are planning to, might as well keep it....yeah, I
   'collect' things too ;)

   > 20 or so bikes in my side of the basement :-) Ok, that's excessive, but

   > just a general collection any bike nut might have on hand :-)

That's cool, you've practically got a bike shop!

   > ha. I really do have a lot of bikes. Too many really, but I do, or did,
   > ride all the complete ones. The duplicates are spares. When I find a bike

   > I've built some and sold them. Don't do that much anymore. Now I just ride
   > them and enjoy.

   Jim

If I had bikes and parts for them like that, I'd keep them too...but alas,
I've only got the only 3 bikes I've ever owned so far, a classic Nottingham
made Raleigh Sports 3 speed, a Belgium made Superia mixte 10 speed, both
rotting in my garage, and my most recent, customized 21 speed Huffy
Hawthorne hard tail, in my kitchen.
