   It's not really a 'pole', just a vertically 'stretched' array of speakers.   
   We've got an early version of the Bose L1 at my church - sounds okay but   
   this one (don't know the model) has a wide base into which the 'pole' is   
   inserted, and it sounds pretty decent, and since it's primary dimension is   
   vertical, fits nicely into the quarter space and is very unobtrusive - but   
   is there any kind of real Need to have something like that, or, as I've   
   suspected all along, is this 'change' thing only for the purpose of change   
   without any kind of valid reason behind it?
