   I guess that's why you never see 'gig bags' for violins, violas, and   
   cellos...or for that matter horns and woodwinds either - they're even more   
   fragile and delicate...but then after all, they're instruments, not

   I'd kind of regard that as almost a freak accident, at least when compared   
   to the instances you've mentioned, and plain Stupid things like laying lit   
   cigarettes on a keyboard's keys, spilling drinks on a keyboard or other   
   instrument, or 'dancing', or staggering too close to instruments and   
   knocking them to the floor.
