Depends on the reason for riding. Personally, I do it for the enjoyment of
the Independence that comes from transporting myself using my own natural
   physical resources.
However, there are others who aspire to winning races and and meeting other
more demanding objectives objectives using a bicycle...while others do it
entirely for the exercise, which can vary greatly in terms of effort and
   degree of challenge.
And naturally, there's a certain sense of fulfillment that comes from doing
something that requires a noble effort.

"Harder" is only a temporary condition, but the Proper Motivation for
Working on, Learning, and Practicing the material, would come from how much
one actually enjoys the material and Seriously Aspires to be able to perform
   it.

What's wrong is that it would be STAGNANT...and then all they'd play is
CopyCat Crap...worn out, STALE, BORING, MUMMIFIED so-called 'music'!
For Serious musicians however, abilities are constantly changing -
IMPROVING...GETTING *BETTER* as more and more Practice constantly Develops,
Expands, and all the further Refines their capabilities, Talents, and Skills
   as Artists!!!

Over HOW MUCH time? ;) The Terminally LAZY *need* to have those goalposts
   moved!!!

Sounds like a great idea for a duo!

I've got to work up the courage to get on my bike, but I don't know that I
really want to get out there with the Retarded Idiots I have to put up with
when I drive a cab, only now with the vulnerability of a bicycle...not all
that pleasant prospect after all :(
