They liked the results...maybe the band was too loud and so rather than
talk, the customers bought more drinks ;)

Just went outside to look at the eclipse...it's MISERABLY cloudy - I hope I
NEVER see another UGLY cloud as long as I live - the sky is just too
awesomely beautiful to have it RUINED by that floating SLOP - but I am able
to see the sun. I've got my metalized mylar-covered binoculars which I've
used a few times...but this time, I used my unaided and unprotected eyes to
have a very quick glimpse through very thick clouds and have noticed the Sun
seems to be about 50 percent covered.
Every time there sees to be a break in the Natural POLLUTION i.e. clouds, I
grab the binoculars and go outside.
Totality is supposed to be 1:20 pm CDT, so 2:20 pm for you.

Probably compensated for it performance wise.

Sounds like at my church ;)

   > I knew things were going wrong during the soundcheck, but it just

Soundchecks are only effective if those setting up the equipment actually
know what they're doing, rather than just 'think' they do...just like at my
   church.

   > On the other hand, some newspaper people were there, interviewed us after

   How COOL is that!!!

And also a bit weird ;)
