From: noreply@noreply              Last time I was here was around 2005 give or take a year, and man has       this place changed!              Where are all the old faces? This group should be renamed to the Jim D &       Louise show, with occasional guest Tristan Bourdea and sometimes Neil.              On a serious note - glad to see the newsgroup is still somewhat active,       even if it's only Jim doing most of the talking!              Oh the memories, what ever happened to the old farts like Nick Andrews,       Ernie, Tom (I think) in BC, Rick Ryan, Sam Spade, and a whole lot of       other jokers and great solo act mucisians.              What was the name of that one soloact chick, I think she was based out of       Australia, and everyone used to sort of pick on her? She had lots of       photos posted of her gigs.              Then there was some Russian guy, what the hell was his name I can't       remember but he was a classical musician and was also a tinkerer and used       to get into lots of arguements with Ernie. Both of these guys really       knew MIDI inside out.              And pTooner, yeah just remembered that name.              Went to Nick Andrews' website, nothing there. Domain name not even       responding. But I do remember watching some of his old videos posted on       YouTube, and he was a decent guitarist from what I saw back then.              Any old timers still lurking here???!!              Best,              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
