   The 12AX7 is a relatively low voltage, low power tube.

   Tubes do get replaced from time to time. Something inside degrades due to   
   the constant effect of heat related changes, including expansion and the   
   performance of the tube degrades with it until it eventually must be   
   replaced...takes a very long time though, usually.

   Behringer makes their mixer to work with several operating systems.   
   Why not just use one of those operating systems Without Changing it and not   
   be so fixated on Monopolistic Fascist Corporations' Schemes to further THEIR   
   interests with their stupid 'upgrades'?

   But with the Behringer unit, you're already using a third party tablet for a   
   monitor/controller...so why not get a dedicated tablet just for the   
   mixer...and DON'T CHANGE IT?
