Didn't do any of the serious Christmas songs       > ,,,,, sorry :-)              My church had a Christmas eve service last night at 9:00 pm and actually got       to rehearse for an hour and a half before that, and it went great...lots of       traditional hymns and carols and myself and the Music Director, also on       keys, were the only musicians, but we sure played some great tunes:              The First Noel       Joy To The World       What Child Is This       Away In A Manger       Angels We Have Heard On High       It Came Upon A Midnight Clear, and finished off with Silent Night.       I wanted to also do O Little Town Of Bethlehem, O Come All Ye Faithful, and       Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, but we already did those in previous services       leading up too this one.              > No, I tell a lie. We did do Silent Night. And White Christmas, but mostly       > it was the fun songs .... Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman and the like.       > No Santa got run over tho, that's a silly song.              Like "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas", "Pretty Little Dolly",       "Christmas Don't Be Late", "All I Want for Christmas (Is My Two Front       Teeth)", "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", or "I'm Gettin' Nuttin' For       Christmas".              Or how about "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas", "Holly Jolly Christmas, and the       rest of the "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" soundtrack: "Jingle Jingle       Jingle", "We Are Santa's Elves, "We're A Couple Of Misfits", "The Most       Wonderful Day Of The Year", or "Run, Run Rudolph", "Here Comes Santa Claus",       "Up On The Housetop", "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas", "The       Christmas Song", "The Man With All The Toys", "Santa Claus Is Coming To       Town" (Love the way Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band rocks and rolls       that one!), and the like.              > It started snowing here about 6 pm or so, after we got home. Got a few       > inches. It's all white and cold out. Don't care. I'm not going anywhere       > tomm. At least that's the plan as of now.              Jim              We had around 2" of snow here yesterday, talk about a white Christmas - only       problem was that the temperatures went into the low teens - it's 16 degrees       F right now in a clear sunny sky, and they're forcast to go even lower over       the coming week, as low as -1 F tomorrow night, and then stay in the low       single digits day and night after that - I HATE WINTER!!! WHERE is that       so-called 'global warming' when I Need it most? I'm Sick and tired of       hearing about it - I WANT TO *FEEL* IT!!!       I'm already sick of winter, and my two most hated four letter words, SNOW,       and COLD!!! And in keeping with the holiday spirit:              HO, HO, HO       I HATE SNOW,       I CAN'T WAIT,       TO SEE IT GO!!!       AND THAT'S NOT ALL,       THERE'S ALSO COLD,       ENOUGH ALREADY!       IT'S GOTTEN OLD!              Ouisie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
