   2. THE PRINCIPLE OF CORRESPONDENCE   
      
   "This Principle embodies the truth that there is always a Correspondence   
   between the laws and phenomena of the various planes of Being and Life."   
   If one observes nature it is obvious that certain basic laws govern the Macro   
   as well as the Micro.    
      
   The most obvious of these phenomena is that of basic Geometry. The circle   
   specifically can be found in the formation of Galaxies as well as the   
   formation of sub-atomic particles. The circle even appears in the mental world   
   as birth, life and death and    
   then repeating... a spiral is fundamentally circular.     
      
   Another example is contrast. We can see how extreme opposites are reflected in   
   every aspect of every plane of existence and only through the contrast of   
   these extreme states can we define the experiences of physical and mental   
   reality.   
   The contrast of light and dark define even the most extreme poles of existence   
   including mental and spiritual.   
      
   The Divine proportions also penetrate every aspect of experience. We find PI   
   and PHI built into every possible manifestation of experience in one shape or   
   form or another. It doesn't matter how big or small, how abstract or common,   
   these rules were built    
   into the very fabric of all that exists.     
      
   When one accepts the reality that there are indeed certain fundamental laws   
   which correspond to each other on every plane of existence then this awareness   
   becomes a tool to not only peer into the extreme depths of reality in any   
   direction and make    
   visible that which was invisible, but it also becomes a compass and a square   
   to build realities of firm foundation with the understanding of the basic laws   
   that govern us all.   
      
   By understanding this law we can affect the experiences of our life just as we   
   can affect the depth of a lake by manipulating the flow of the river which   
   spills into it.   
      
   But in order to know how to control the flow of the river we must understand   
   the difference between an open channel and a closed channel. We must have a   
   firm grasp of how extremes or polar opposites not only affect our immediate   
   realities but also how    
   they affect the realities that exist down stream.
