   This is how dry humor works. You have to be completely "serious" when you   
   deliver the joke. Otherwise, the joke isn't as funny. Monty Python knew this.   
   You don't?   
      
   He referred to Men in Black as a "documentary". Come on, man. He even refers   
   to the film as a "documentary" first and then pauses for the punchline when he   
   delivers the title!   
      
   I'm starting to wonder if maybe you're not engaging in "dry humor" yourself   
   now. Maybe the "joke" isn't as funny if I don't take you seriously...   
      
   Then again, that's a pretty long and firm dedication to a joke.
