From: a_rod_777@yahoo.com              "but I doubt it would work on me."              Famous last words lol       The truth is we all experience varying levels of trance throughout our day ,       everyday. We can become entranced by music, a movie or even just zone out       while driving home from work... these are levels of mild trance where your       conscious mind, to a degree,        has been suspended and you are simply accepting information into your       subconscious without critiquing it with your conscious ego.              When driving a car home from work, you may be so focused on something else you       don't even realize or remember driving home until you get there and come out       of your daydream. Anytime your attention is focused on your inner world rather       than your outer        world you are experiencing a level of trance. hypnosis is simply guided       meditation where someone talks you into a state of consciousness where you are       completely focused on the inner world and depending on how far you go you will       actually lose track of        the outer world and your conscious mind will completely shut down.               The key to delivering subliminal messages is to bypass the conscious mind. In       order to do that we have to either shut it down completely or find ways to       distract it while we deliver subliminal messages. A great way to do this is       through media. Music for        instance. how many time have you listened to a great song and not even       realized what the words were saying? Those words went straight to your       subconscious and was recorded there. This can be effective but not nearly as       effective as completely knocking        out the conscious mind and delivering a direct suggestion to experience       something.              When we knock out the conscious mind to a large degree we can actually talk to       the subconscious mind directly and tell it to experience certain sensory based       realities and it will live them out as if it is happening in real life. In       fact it will become        reality for that individual for as long as they remain in the trance just like       a dream. And if it is a post hypnotic suggestion it can actually alter their       awareness and live with them for a very long time after the experience       depending on how well it is        re-enforced to their conscious mind.              The mechanics of why it works can get a little complicated but it is quite       easy to do an instant induction. an instant induction will only take you into       a mild trance so there isn't a lot of risk involved. Basically just make sure       they do not fall over        and hurt themselves. Everyone reacts differently. Some will drop like a sack       of potatoes, some will go into light trance, some will resist. Much of it       depends on your confidence and skill as an operator.              The most important thing in instant induction is to IMMEDIATELY begin       delivering the suggestions they are going deeper, feeling more relaxed, and       feeling better and better the deeper they go. You literally have 1 to 2       seconds to begin delivering these        suggestions or they will wake right back up.              Once you have them in a light trance you can do fun tricks such as making       their arm stiff and unbend able, sticking their hands together or to and       object (their head lol) or making them laugh when they hear their name. You       must start with something        simple becasue they are semi-conscious and will reject anything they don't       want to do and probably wake up.              Once they are convinced that you have control over their arm, hand, etc...       then you can begin deepening them further and perform even more incredible       feats. It takes either a pretty deep level of trance or a continued       re-enforced suggestion over the        period of years to get them to actually hallucinate or experience a different       reality. I do have some people who are quite good at going into trance who can       achieve hallucination level within 60 seconds of the snap of my finger. This       is becasue they are        conditioned to know how to access the subconscious mind. Most people need to       be re-trained on how to access their imagination and meditative mind.              This is what the Yogi's are doing when they go into meditative trance, but       instead of having someone guide them, they do it on their own. I recently had       surgery and used self hypnosis/meditation to completely remove my pain without       taking any pain meds.        I also used it on my wife for her surgery with great success.              I posted some links for Eric above. I suggest starting there then reading more       about instant inductions and the mechanics of why and how they work. The main       point I am stressing is to prove to yourself this is real. Once you have       overcome that obstacles        you will see a whole new world open up to you and you will become aware of all       the subliminal programming around you every day. Those who rule this society       know very well the secret knowledge of the subliminal mind and how it shapes       our realities. Once        your awake you will wonder how you were so blind to the truth for so long.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
