One is a holistic feeling while       the other is a        structural analysis. Feeling is emphasized in art, religion and spirituality;       analysis in logic, mathematics and science.       >        > Does it? In fact, if quantum physicists delve deep enough       into the functions of matter, our notion of logic breaks down so completely       that the fabric of time        and space cease to exist as anything we can recognize as physical reality.              Mathematics of quantum mechanics is precise, but it doesn't allow us to derive       (predict) the outcome of a measurement from prior conditions, only possible       outcomes and their probabilities. Many-worlds interpretation says that all       possible outcomes are        real but we don't know which outcome exists in that part of reality in which       we live. We simply have to look around (interact with our environment) to find       that out. You may know the whole reality but in order to find out where you       are placed in reality        and which person is you, you have to look around.              Spacetime may fluctuate or be twisted all it wants but in the end it is still       a precisely defined mathematical structure and logic doesn't break down. Logic       is simply non-contradiction. If logic broke down, it wouldn't break down, see?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
