Quite the opposite - it helped       you by finding a scapegoat for your pain - Carl Palmer. You could blame all       your pain on him and his evil intentions. That could provide some comfort, don't       you think?              But it doesn't really satisfy the need for love. David Gilmour and other       musicians whose songs gave you comfort don't talk to you. Your attention is       turned to them but they can't fill the void in your heart left by Carl. And no       one even gives you a        validation of your story.
