From: litewave99@gmail.com              To me the Pulse front cover represents the cycle (or pulse) of life that       results from the interplay of polar opposites: the differentiating tendency of       the ego and the unifying tendency of the soul. Life begins literally in the       sea, or metaphorically in        a unified state that is dominated by the soul. As the ego grows stronger, an       individual creature becomes differentiated from the unified sea of the soul.       But after that the soul calls it back into the sea of unity so that the       creature will not dry up in        isolation and decay but may find its fulfillment in the integration of its       developed parts.              Then the cycle may continue on a higher level, where the creature builds on       what has been differentiated and integrated before. Thus organized complexity       grows and with it the level of life and consciousness.              The cycle of life is also represented by a periodical alignment (eclipse) and       separation of two celestial objects.              The creature that is being formed by these cycles is represented by a symbol       of perception and individuality - the eye (a homonym of I).                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
