   Function of Trance: to re-establish communication between the conscious and   
   subconscious mind and unite them into one process, then ultimately use this   
   elevated mind to re-establish communication and ultimately reunification with   
   the Source.   
      
   This is nicely demonstrated allegorically by TDB cover and the dark and light   
   heads facing eachother trying to communicate. When the two faces are joined to   
   make the third face, as the observer, we then become the fourth face staring   
   at the newly formed    
   face in the picture. Our physical face and TDB unified face then form a fifth   
   face from an outside observation point.
