   less then complete sincerity.   
      
   So let me ask you; which "self" are you referring to?   
   The "self" at the level of waking consciousness? The "self" at the level of   
   dreaming consciousness? "The "self" at the sub-conscious level? The "self" at   
   the base level of survival consciousness i.e. regulating breathing, heart   
   rate, sleeping, hunger,    
   sex drive etc...?   
      
   The "self" at the beginning of your life? The "self" at the end of your life?    
   Or perhaps the "self" somewhere in between?   
      
   Perhaps a "self" that exists beyond the parameters of physical reality?   
   Perhaps the part of you that is truly immortal? The part of you that can never   
   be created nor destroyed, only changed?   
      
   That my brash friend is the next logical question in your procession.
