   anyone have an idea what the lyrics in the chorus about "eight seconds left   
   in overtime" refer to...?   
      
   Love the song, and get the general gist about unrequited and disappearing   
   love, but this has me perplexed.  For the longest time before i looked up   
   the lyrics on the net I thought this line was:   
      
   "with fates against laughing all the time" (eight seconds left in overtime)   
      
   which I really think is a better line, but that's just my opinion.   
      
   Sounds to me like just a throwaway line to make the rythym jibe, unless   
   someone has a good explication for it I'm missing...   
      
   Anyway, great pop song.
