   Hi there.   
      
   A couple months ago a friend introduced me to Cage the Elephant because   
   I was really into the White Stripes and he said they sounded pretty   
   alike. I picked up their LP and really dug it, overall, though it was a   
   bit too poppy for my tastes in spots. I tend to like that kind of music   
   to be a bit rougher around the edges, but I do really like that sound   
   they have. Does anyone know any bands kind of similar to them to check   
   out, particularly any a bit dirtier-sounding?
