   This is a weird one...I saw Dinosaur Jnr about 4 or 5 times when they were   
   touring with Big Black, Rapeman, Sonic Youth, Teenage Fanclub and whoever   
   else were their buddies at the time...J Mascis never uttered a word when   
   playing live and nobody could get a word out of him in interviews either.   
   Last time I heard his voice was at the end of the film Gas Food Lodging and   
   that was donkeys years ago. So..I was curious to know why people thought he   
   had an ego...I just thought he was the original slacker. I've just   
   downloaded a few tracks off soulseek just now and in his wanky version of   
   Sweet Child Of Mine he sounds like a right twat...maybe he's changed   
   dramatically in the last 10 years and got bitter and twisted. For the   
   record, as far as I was concerned there were very few albums at the time   
   which could stand next to Your Living All Over Me and not look embarrased.
