   Welcome to sepiatints.com an idea that has finally become a reality.   
      
   Here we aim to connect individual talent with other talent across the country.   
   No more going through Yahoo groups and other forums trying to see which members   
   are into what, or even having to post your information into a ton of different   
   websites. We are into consolidation, streamlining and expedient [as well as   
   efficient data mining].   
      
   List what you do, as well as what type of deals/work/projects you are available   
   for, in a variety of areas (film production, musical perfomance, music   
   production, singing/narration/spoken work, modeling, acting, and more to come   
   soon).   
      
   Post projects for others to look at and contact you. Easily find other   
   registered members who are amenable to certain types of projects and deals   
   instead of beating your feet and the pavement for weeks and days on end.

   What's special about us?   
      
   Firstly, we are not trying to replace other websites, but are more focused on   
   those people who are trying to connect and do something. It's kind of like the   
   networker's potluck stew. Our aim is to connect people who are looking to be   
   on,   
   or become part of, something with those people who have something, or an idea,   
   and just need people. We are not focused on the big venues perse like NY and   
   LA,   
   but helping those people who are on the outskirts of those places, or in   
   smaller   
   cities and towns connect and get their objectives started.   
      
   Secondly, as our numbers grow we will try to bring items of interest, as well   
   as   
   deals to our members. This could include specials on web services (i.e. website   
   production), production items (microphones, mixers) and other services (i.e.   
   spa   
   services, postproduction for music or film, etc.)   
      
   Thirdly, I am not into banners ads so don't look to seeing them on here anytime   
   soon.   
      
   We are interested in people who have projects, or are willing to work on   
   projects, where money is a big impediment. From time to time, we will also   
   reinvest into notable projects (sort of a grass roots offshoot foundation).   
      
   Explanation of Project Deals/Payment Types:   
      
   Equity - participating in a project for a share of the profits. This is most   
   easily expressed in film & video or audio projects.   
      
   Quid Pro Quo - participating in a project in exchange for barterting with the   
   lead person for something else (e.g. I need an actor for a project that I am   
   doing but can't afford to really pay them. However, I design web sites and they   
   need one)   
      
   Door - this is special to the fact that someone needs performers for an event   
   but can't afford it. An example of this would be that you have a deal to use a   
   hall and would like to throw a jazz or spoken word concert. You make a deal   
   with   
   a couple local artists for them receiving a certain take off of the door. They   
   get exposure and maybe some good revenues, you get the ability to throw an   
   event   
   with less overhead. Both parties can make out.

   Once the first 1,000 people are signed up, we will be raffling off a Dell   
   Notebook computer (value not to exceed $1,000)
