   Friday 22 August 2003 (tomorrow night!): VAPOR: downstairs at Cafe Japone,   
   2032 P Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.  9:30 p.m. - 2 a.m.  Ages 18+.  No   
   cover charge.  New wave/synthpop/electro.   
      
   Thursday 28 August 2003: AVALANCHE 2: DJ Selector Seth will be out of town   
   so we are filling in for him for a special edition of Notorious. AVALANCHE   
   2 is the music of New Order, Joy Division, and all the side projects spun   
   all evening long.  New Order themed visuals will be screened.  Fantastic   
   giveaways, including the New Order "316" and "511" DVD's, courtesy of   
   Rhino Records.  At The Spy Lounge (next to Felix), 2406 18th Street, N.W.,   
   Washington, D.C.  10 p.m. - 2 a.m.  Ages 21+.  $5 cover charge.  Or:

   Friday 5 September 2003: STRIPPED: Our newest event!  Stripped will occur   
   every Friday night in the month of September, with a special Clan Of Xymox   
   "Farewell" CD giveaway party on Friday 19 September.  Stripped is basic,   
   raw and post-apocalyptic.  At The U-Turn Bar, 1942 11th Street, N.W.,   
   Washington, D.C. (corner of 11th and U Streets, N.W.).  10 p.m. - 3 a.m.   
   Ages 18+.  Free admission with Stripped flyer on opening night until 10.30   
   p.m.; $5 cover charge otherwise.  Dancepop and britpop.
